Product development is driven by an advisory board of high profile physicians. Prism products and services are designed by physicians for physicians. President and Chief Executive Officer

Paul Schmelzer is President and CEO of Prism Clinical Imaging, Inc. Prior to joining Prism, Paul served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of TeraMedica, a software firm developing enterprise scale digital image storage management systems for the healthcare industry. He is a career professional in Information Technology (IT) business development, product development, marketing and general management with more than 25 years experience in software, processing and professional services, primarily in the financial services industry. Paul has planned, designed and launched 14 IT software and services products including serving as a founder, designer and director of TYME is Money, the nation's first Automated Teller Machine (ATM) network. Paul also launched Deluxe Data's high performance transaction processing software and services business establishing Deluxe Data as the market leader in ATM network services. His executive experiences include domestic and international merger and acquisition integration, start-ups, joint ventures and turnaround situations.

Paul holds a BBA in Finance from St. Norbert College where his career contributions were recognized with the college's 1996 Alumni Award for Distinguished Achievement in Business. He received an MBA in Executive Curriculum from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Clinical Relations Manager

Nils Anderson has been a valued member of the MR community since 1991, working as a Clinical and Research Technologist. He has taught MRI concepts and skills, including functional MRI, as faculty for Medical Technology Management Institute and as both an Applications and Advanced Applications Specialist for GE Healthcare. His experience in scanning, teaching and product development and support offer great value in communicating with and empowering customers to expand their clinical and commercial practice of advanced neuroimaging.

Robert Pyritz
Vice President of Business Development

Bob Pyritz is Vice President of Business Development at Prism Clinical Imaging. Bob has over 25 years of progressive IT senior level business development, marketing and corporate management for entrepreneurial and Fortune 1000 software and transaction processing companies in the health care, manufacturing and banking industries. Prior to joining Prism, Bob helped found a system integration company where his responsibilities included sales, product and project management, and marketing. He was instrumental in moving the company from a pre-revenue start-up to an established worldwide solution provider through direct and channel sales of licensed software, consulting services and maintenance contracts and by signing international OEM agreements and managing strategic partnerships in both the health care and manufacturing verticals. Bob's background also includes regional and national sales positions with several industry leading software companies. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, IBM Professional Salesmanship School and HP Negotiation Courses.

 

 

James L. Reuss, PhD
Chief Technology Officer

James L. Reuss, PhD, Chief Technology Officer, has been actively involved in developing medical devices for over 25 years. Trained in medical algorithm design, Dr. Reuss holds numerous patents in the areas of pulse oximetery, vital signs monitoring and telemetry. He has engaged in research involving modeling of light travel in tissue, infant visual development, and neonatal health assessment through sleep state analysis. At Prism, Dr. Reuss is responsible for research and development, including several NIH-funded SBIR grants.

Dr. Reuss holds degrees from M.I.T., the University of Illinois and Northwestern University. His industry experience includes Research and Development Director at Criticare Systems, Inc., Vice President of Research and Development for OB Scientific and co-founder of Emergent Technology Corporation. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of AAMI, ASFNR and OHBM.
